Join Hands Day a Huge Success!
Over 100 volunteers spent the day at Lutherwood on a cold and wet May 3rd, 2008 as part of Join Hands Day.
Not only were many projects completed by the volunteers to get the camp ready for the 2008 summer season, but over $2,500 was raised during lunch! Camp Director Bob Merrill and board member Rob Gillespie challenged the
attendees to raise the money by "volunteering" to jump into the lake that afternoon if the funds were raised. Bob and Rob got wet! Way to go.
